I found a really old drawing among my files that was a remake of an even older sketch and was curious to see what it would look like if would draw it now. Fortunately I have developed quite a lot during the past ten, or so, years. It is quite different from the very first drawing that I as a very young girl, was super happy with and the coloured and rendered version that I created early during my Photoshop career.
It was inspired by a book series I read maybe 10-15 years ago, about a girl trading places with her twin brother and becoming a warrior, named Alanna. I think that her journey is portrayed in a way in these pictures, from young girl to battleworn woman.
